This store sells to researchers, laboratories, and institutions buying for research purposes. By placing an order you confirm that you are of legal age to enter a contract where you are, that you are buying for research purposes, and that you are competent to receive, handle, store, and dispose of the material safely and lawfully.
Checkout will not let an order through until you have ticked a box confirming the statement below. Ticking it is a representation you make to us, and we rely on it when we decide whether to ship. The wording you accepted, and the moment you accepted it, are recorded against your order.
“I confirm that I am buying these materials for research purposes only, that they will not be used in or on humans or animals, and that I am responsible for handling, storing, and disposing of them lawfully where I am. I understand that everything published on this site is for research and educational purposes.”
If any part of that is not true of your purchase, do not place the order. Telling us afterwards is better than not telling us at all, but the representation was already made.
Every item sold here is supplied for laboratory research only. These materials are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, or supplements, and they are not sold for use in or on humans or animals. Nothing on this site is medical, veterinary, or scientific advice, and we make no claim about what any product does.
The materials sold here have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
This business is not a pharmacy. It is not a compounding pharmacy registered under section 503A, not an outsourcing facility registered under section 503B, and not a licensed medical or veterinary provider. Its premises are not registered with or approved by the Food and Drug Administration, and nothing sold here is prescribed, compounded, or dispensed to order.

The following are terms of the sale rather than requests, and they bind whoever ends up holding the material as much as they bind the buyer.
Breaking these terms entitles us to cancel outstanding orders and to refuse future ones. Where we cancel, we refund in full.
Material bought here is supplied for the buyer's own research. It is not for resale, and it may not be repackaged, relabelled, or passed on to anyone else.
If your institution buys centrally and distributes internally to its own researchers, that is not resale and this clause is not aimed at it. What we will not supply is stock for onward sale, because we cannot stand behind a certificate once the material has left a chain we can account for.
We may refuse or cancel any order, before or after payment, and we do not have to give a reason. In practice the reasons are these: we doubt the purpose of the purchase; the details given do not hold together; the order would breach export, import, or sanctions rules that apply to either of us; payment cannot be verified; or the buyer has broken these terms before.
Where we cancel, we refund in full, and we are not liable for anything beyond that refund. Refusing an order is not an accusation, and we will say so plainly if you ask.
A listing is an invitation to order, not an offer. The contract forms when we confirm dispatch, not when the order is placed — which is what allows us to decline an order without having already sold you something. Prices are shown in full on the listing and are the prices charged at checkout. Carriage is quoted separately at checkout, before payment. Whether the prices shown include or exclude tax, and who bears import duty, will be stated here before the store opens to orders.
If a price or product description is obviously wrong, we may cancel the order and refund it rather than honour the error, even after confirmation.
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment processor. Card and bank statements show the charge as IRIS TRADING LLC, not as the store name.
Delivery timescales are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the material passes to you on delivery; title passes when we have received payment in full. The Shipping Policy sets out what we undertake on dispatch and tracking.
Sealed, unopened items may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Opened items cannot be returned. The Refund Policy governs, and nothing in it limits any statutory right you have that cannot be excluded by agreement.
We are responsible for supplying material that matches its description and its published certificate. We are not responsible for what is done with it after delivery, and we exclude liability for loss arising from use of the material outside research. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal harm caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Where we are liable to you for anything arising out of an order, our total liability for that order is capped at the amount you paid us for the material the claim concerns. That is the cap however the claim is framed — in contract, in negligence, or otherwise.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss of any kind. That includes lost profit, lost contracts, lost data, ruined experiments, wasted staff time, and the cost of repeating work, whether or not we were told such loss was possible. If part of this clause cannot be enforced where you are, the rest of it still stands.
If a claim is brought against us because of what you did with material bought here, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover what that costs us: the claim itself, the legal costs of dealing with it, and any penalty imposed on us as a result.
This is not a trap for ordinary customers. It exists because the one thing we cannot control is what happens to material after it leaves us, and somebody has to carry that risk. Buy for research, use it for research, and this clause never comes near you.
The law that governs these terms, and the courts that will hear a dispute about them, will be named here before the store opens to orders. We have deliberately left this blank rather than pick one: naming the wrong law is worse than naming none, because it looks settled when it is not.
Whatever is named, it will not take away a protection the law where you live gives you and does not let you sign away. If you have a dispute with us, the Complaint & Abuse Reporting page is the fastest route to a person.
The terms in force are the ones published here when your order is placed. Changes are posted on this page and do not apply retrospectively to orders already confirmed.
