Ships: within 1 business day
To continue you confirm that you are qualified research professional aged 21 or older.
Orders are packed and dispatched on business days, and go out on the next business day at the latest. An order placed before the 2:00 PM ET cut-off is dispatched the same business day; after it, the next one. That time is provisional and will be confirmed before the store opens to orders.
Dispatch is not delivery. That covers packing an order and handing it to the carrier; it does not include time in transit, which depends on the carrier and the destination.
Weekends are not business days, and nor are US federal holidays. We publish that as the rule rather than as a list of dates, because a list goes out of date on the page people rely on; an order that lands on one is picked up on the next business day.
Carriage is quoted at checkout, before any payment is taken, and depends on the destination and the size of the order. The figure shown at checkout is the figure charged. This store runs no free-carriage threshold, so no order qualifies for carriage at no cost.
Every order ships with tracking. The tracking reference is sent by email on dispatch. If it has not moved for several business days, contact us rather than the carrier — we opened the account and we can usually get an answer faster.
The first order on a new account is delivered with an adult signature required. Someone aged 21 or over has to be there to sign for it, and the carrier will not leave it at the door, with a neighbour, or in a safe place.
It is the first order because that is the delivery we have nothing else to go on for: the account is new, the address is new to us, and the signature is what tells us the material reached an adult at the address it was sent to. Later orders on the same account are delivered in the ordinary way.
If nobody is there to sign, the shipment is not left. What happens next — another delivery attempt, or the shipment held for collection — follows the carrier's own rules, and the tracking record will say which. Contact us if it is not clear.
Material is supplied lyophilized in sealed vials, shipped in sealed, temperature-appropriate packaging, and labelled with the compound and the batch code. The batch code on the vial is what ties the shipment to its published certificate, so it is worth recording before the packaging is discarded.
We ship within the United States only. We do not accept or fulfil international orders, and the destinations offered at checkout match that.
This store does not ship to a PO box either: checkout refuses one on the shipping address before payment rather than after, because an order has to reach a street address where a person can take delivery and, on a first order, sign for it.
Prices exclude sales tax. Where sales tax is due on an order it is calculated at checkout from the shipping address and added to the total there, so the figure shown at checkout before payment is the figure charged.
Risk passes to you on delivery. Handling, storage, and disposal become your responsibility from that point, under the rules that apply where you are. Check the shipment against its paperwork on arrival and tell us promptly if anything is damaged, missing, or does not match — the Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy covers how that is put right.
A shipment counts as lost 7 business days past the carrier's estimated delivery date. Tell us at that point and we open a trace with the carrier — we hold the account, so raising it is ours to do rather than yours.
When the carrier confirms the shipment is lost, we either send the order again or refund it, and which of the two is ours to decide. Where the lot your order was filled from is gone, it is a refund: sending a different batch would be a different material under a different certificate, and we will not pass that off as the order you placed.
If tracking shows a delivery you did not receive, tell us. We open a case with the carrier on your behalf and at no charge to you, and we pass on whatever the carrier reports — where and when the parcel was scanned, and the signature if one was taken.
